Burbank gem!💎I’m originally from Burbank but moved to Philly many years ago. I visit my family and friends in CA every Summer and Christmas and always make sure to stop at Toro Sushi for their phenomenal poke bowls and sushi.🍱 🍣 We’ve been going for close to 20 years and it’s still our favorite. Have to say, after covid we got a little concerned but in the last 2 years they’ve leveled up! Come to find out it’s all because of the current owners. Albert and his wife truly put their hearts and souls into what they are doing and it shows in the quality of food and service! They are so warm and kind and truly care about providing a great experience. Reasonable prices, great portions, always fresh, plenty of parking in the nearby lots, outdoor seats as well as indoor and bar. It’s small but you can always take it to go. DO IT…SO WORTH IT!

This is easily the best sushi place in town! Not only is the food delicious, but the staff treat you like family! They were very helpful as I am not familiar with all the sushi variations and am a little picky when it comes to food. They were so nice and really went out of their way to explain things, let me try things, and followed up to ensure I was completely satisfied! My new favorite sushi place!

After coming back from Japan, we had a craving for quality sushi and poke bowls. The food here satisfied our cravings - the ingredients are very fresh and the flavor and mix were just right. We also appreciate the great service from the owner. Highly recommend checking this place out for good local Japanese food.

Toro Sushi & Poke House has quickly become a go-to for our family. We’ve been for both lunch and dinner, and every time the food is very fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared and there is something for everyone. The signature rolls (especially the rainbow and the terminator) are standouts, and the hand rolls are awesome too. They have delicious poke bowls where you can choose from a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The ramen is also extremely tasty. Definitely get an order of the jalapeño poppers! They’re insanely good and I don't know where to find a dish quite like this anywhere else in LA. The space is comfortable whether you’re sitting at the counter or at a table, and the location is easy with convenient parking. The sake selection is solid (I tried the sparkling sake yesterday and really loved), and prices are very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend. This place is doing everything right!

Upper Tier Quality Sushi at an Affordable Price. Toro has to be my favorite reasonably priced sushi place in Burbank. Poke is really great and they give you big portions but I tried to Omakase for the first time and it was on par with some of the fancier places at half the price. Really loved the staff and workers, only downside is that the indoor seating can get really cramped so you’re sandwiched between other couples talking and you can eavesdrop on everyone’s conversations when it’s busy. But would 100% recommend to a friend and is definitely my favorite casual poke and sushi joint in the area.
